NEW YORK (CNNfn) - It's Switzerland's turn for the telecoms shoot-out that's touring Europe.

On Monday, the latest auction of third-generation mobile phone licenses takes place in Switzerland. Two candidates have already dropped out. Charles River Associates, which is running the auction, says fewer players means the money raised could be below the Swiss government's expectations.
