Industry tracker shows dot.com layoffs exceed 100,000 since December 1999

NEW YORK (CNNfn) - Coming on the heels of a gloomy stretch of employment statistics, TheStandard.com's Layoff Tracker reported that Internet-related firms have announced more than 100,000 job cuts since December 1999.
Amanda Christensen, editorial researcher at the Industry Standard, joined CNNfn's Bruce Francis and Patricia Sabga on the N.E.W. Show to help us tally up the damage.
