A look at Ford's future, GM's productivity, and the next generation of cars

NEW YORK (CNNfn) - The outlook for Ford Motor Co. has been clouded by $3 billion tire recall and hundreds of potential law suits – and some intensifying competition.
According to findings of the Harbour Report, due to be released Thursday, General Motors is close to matching Ford in productivity, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday.
