Odyssey IPO comes in on top

NEW YORK (CNNmoney) - Odyssey HealthCare Inc. came in at the top of expectations Tuesday, raising $54 million.
Odyssey sold 3.6 million shares at $15 each, the top of its $13-to-$15 price range, via Merrill Lynch.
Dallas-based Odyssey operates more than 30 hospices for the terminally ill in 21 states, offering nursing care, counseling and daily assistance.
The Odyssey initial public offering follows the strong debut Tuesday of insurance company Anthem Inc., which rose 14 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.
Odyssey plans to trade Wednesday under the Nasdaq symbol "ODSY."
