NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - With the Federal Reserve Board cutting interest rates Tuesday for the 11th time this year to prop up the struggling economy, Congress is under pressure to pass a fiscal stimulus package before the holidays.
President Bush proposed a compromise on the package, including tax rebates for low-income workers, accelerated tax cuts for those in the 27 percent bracket, and tax cuts to spur business investments.
CNNfn's Deborah Marchini takes a look at the stimulus package on Before Hours.
