NEW YORK (CNN/Money) -
After more than 20 years on air, CNN's Lou Dobbs is dropping the word "Moneyline" from his nightly news program, the news network announced Tuesday.
Lou Dobbs Moneyline will be called Lou Dobbs Tonight starting Monday, and the one-hour program will introduce new segments and a new look, the 24-hours news network said.
Lou Dobbs Tonight will air in the same time slot at 6 p.m. ET on weekdays, and will cover business and political news, the domestic and international economy, corporate crime and other issues, CNN said, adding that the new name better conveys the program's broader focus. The show will be repeated at 11 p.m.
The show is adding a weekly feature with retired Army Gen. David Grange that will focus on issues facing men and women in uniform as well as veterans, and "Face Off," in which guests from media, politics and business will discuss the news and issues of the day.
Dobbs was a founding member of CNN and began anchoring Moneyline in 1980. He oversaw the launch of CNNfn and CNNfn.com, now CNN/Money, in December 1995.
Both CNN and CNN/Money are owned by AOL Time Warner (AOL: Research, Estimates).
