NEW YORK (CNN/Money) -
A meat and cheese pizza, like the ones developed by the two teams in Thursday's episode of the Donald Trump reality show "The Apprentice," went on sale Friday at Domino's Pizza stores nationwide.
Although both teams developed meatball pizzas, as per Trump's suggestion, the "Magna Corp." team beat the "Net Worth" team by selling more pies during the cheesy challenge.
During the episode, Trump announced that Domino's (Research) would be introducing the new "American Classic Cheeseburger Pizza," which has meat and three cheeses -- American, provolone and cheddar -- with a layer of onions, bacon and tomatoes.
"When we tested the American Classic Cheeseburger Pizza last year, people loved it. We're excited to introduce this new pizza because so many people crave cheeseburgers and pizza," said Ken Calwell, chief marketing officer of the Michigan-based pizza chain.
"It takes my two favorite foods -- pizza and cheeseburgers -- and blends them together. I've tried this product and it's fabulous," Donald Trump said.
Trump will also serve as Domino's new pitchman, 10 years after pitching Pizza Hut's Stuffed Crust Pizza with then-wife, Ivana.
During the episode, Papa John's aimed to trump the competition with a 30-second spot promoting its own meaty pizza. In the commercial, Papa John's founder John Schnatter asks, "Why eat a pizza made by apprentices when you can call the pros at Papa John's?"
The American Classic Cheeseburger Pizza is available in Domino's stores across the country. A medium cheeseburger pizza costs $9.99.
Papa John's large meatball pizza costs $11.99.
