$25,000 a year for unlimited training sessions, plus $125 monthly dues
More like the anti-gym, David Kirsch's Madison Square Club, with its oriental rugs and soft lighting, is intimate and serene. It has 500 members, but only six are permitted to work out with a trainer in the club at one time. In fact, the club discourages socializing and watching TV while you exercise, although each elliptical, Stairmaster and treadmill is equipped with a flat screen.
A self-proclaimed "wellness guru," Kirsch often boasts that he's trained the likes of Heidi Klum, Liv Tyler and Ellen Barkin among other celebrities. Clients swear by his services, as well as his product line, which includes a $40 package of "vitamin mineral super juice" and a $35 fat burning elixir, called "thermo bubbles."
