$23,500 a year, including unlimited training sessions
You may need a retina scan to enter the illustrious E at Equinox, but this club is actually better suited to a CEO than a 007. Once inside, members will find their Sugoi workout attire freshly laundered and waiting in one of the private shower and changing cabanas (pictured) along with a Frette robe. The cabanas are also fully stocked with Molton Brown hair and skin care products -- and special requests, such as a specific deodorant or pre-workout snack, will also be accommodated.
Whether you're doing lunges with a trainer or running on the aromatherapy treadmill, which exudes rejuvenating wafts of orange essence, your workout will be closely monitored by one of E's managers, who will track your progress and schedule your sessions. They'll even coordinate with trainers in other cities or countries when you travel to help maintain your exercise regime. The gym has less than 200 members, and there are rarely more than a handful in the modern space at one time. E can even help you shave a few stokes off your golf game -- they'll arrange for you to meet with a private golf coach who'll video tape your swing and give you personalized pointers.
