Allred fought for domestic violence victim Brittany Ashland, who was allegedly abused by actor Charlie Sheen. The lawyer reportedly helped Ashland reach an undisclosed settlement, and Sheen pleaded no contest in a criminal case. In August 2010, Allred represented a police officer involved in another Sheen assault case (this time with his estranged wife Brooke Mueller).
