The Nils seems about as bare-bones as a car can get. It's a single-seater powered by a 33-horsepower electric motor. It has a range of about 40 miles on a two-hour charge.
Some attention was given to driving enjoyment, however. The Nils has four-wheel disc brakes and sophisticated multi-link suspension.
The new Maserati Kubang SUV is expected to be built in Detroit alongside the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango.
