While the Verano looks very much like the larger Buick Regal on the outside, the interior is, thankfully, very different.
The Verano's interior is straightforward and functional. You get two perfectly usable cupholders up front and a nice, box-shaped center storage console.
Second, the array of buttons and knobs for controlling the stereo and climate is simple, logical and attractive. The Regal's interior, by contrast, suffers from a confusing scatter of buttons and knobs as well as a near-useless center console. I'll take the Verano's inside lay-out any day.
The lack of an available full-power seat, at least on the driver's seat, is my only real quibble. When riding in semi-luxury, I don't expect to have to reach behind my hip to adjust the seat. A small point, perhaps, but it seems like a strange place for GM to decide to save a few bucks.
