Inside this gullwing-doored concept vehicle is a plug-in hybrid powertrain. A three-cylinder, 60-horsepower gasoline engine generates electricity that gets stored up in a lithium-ion battery pack. From there, it powers a 100 horsepower electric motor.

The car can travel 74 miles on a full charge, Hyundai says, before the little engine has to kick in. Top speed is 145 miles per hour.
