You don't generally see the kinds of crazy car deals you did in years past. Car companies, particularly the Detroit automakers, just don't overproduce cars and discount them the way they used to. But, if you shop around, you can still find some very good discounts out there on cars that are well worth your money.
We asked the online car pricing sites Truecar.com and Carwoo.com to choose the vehicles with the biggest discounts. From their lists, here are our recommendations. (For the sake of consistency, we're showing Truecar's pricing figures for all the cars,)
For starters, there are some deals to be had on the new Dodge Charger. This car has been an important part of Chrysler Group's sales turnaround and rightly so. It's a roomy, comfortable car with great performance, whether equipped with a V6 or V8, and surprisingly good fuel economy.
Automakers unveiled numerous cars this week, most which are geared for the fast-growing Chinese market. But some of the sweet rides will also be sold in the U.S.
