The i8 will be a carbon-fiber plug-in hybrid performance car. It's not going to hit the market until 2014 but it's not too soon to start planning some space in the garage. It won't be cheap but it will be filled with technology and will have a respectable electric-only cruising range which should more than make up for that luxury car stigma.
