RadioShack tapped none other than Bill Gates (left) to tout is Tandy 2000 personal computer, which just happened to use Microsoft's(MSFT) MS-DOS operating system. Famed science fiction writer Isaac Asimov (right) also helped promote the chain's line of computers and word processors, which at the time seemed quite futuristic indeed.
