In the first couple months after opening the [Save to Win] account, I actually won $50 from one of the monthly drawings and that was all exciting. Then the woman from the bank called me in November and said, 'Are you sitting down?' When she told me I had won $5,000, I didn't jump up and down like people on The Price Is Right, but it was a surprise.

I still haven't determined where it will all go. I'm using some to help my kids pay off some loans -- a car loan and a student loan. Some will go to tithing. And for now, the rest is in the bank but I plan to use it to do something on the house.

This was great because there was no risk involved. I was saving already, but other savings accounts weren't making any interest, so this CD gave me interest and I had the possibility of making even more money if I won.

So it was a win-win situation, and then I actually won so it was a win-win-win situation.
