World's Top Employers for New Grads

For an exclusive CNNMoney list, research firm Universum Global surveyed college students around the world to see where they most want to work.

Bain & Co.

top employers bain & company
  • Rank among business students: 25
  • Rank (engineering students): 50

Headquarters: Boston, MA
No. of employees: 5,000

What makes it great: From your first day as an associate consultant at Bain, you're analyzing real world issues for global clients across many fields. Only 15% of employees hired out of college have a business degree -- Bain's on-the-job training and mentorship teaches the foundation of Bain's strategy work, says partner Chris Bierly. "Old heads on young shoulders make you a much wiser businessperson," he says.

What they're looking for: Bain's key employee qualities include analytical skills, working well in team settings and a true desire to serve. "The clients are the star in our world," Bierly says. Having clear personal interests doesn't hurt, either. "We want folks leaning forward in life with a passion to pursue their dreams."
