Joy Mangano was once a struggling mom, raising three children and worried about paying the next electric bill. Today she is one of the top vendors on HSN.

Over the last two decades, Mangano has rung up a string of successes through her company, Ingenious Designs. These include the self-wringing Miracle Mop and My Little Steamer, a portable handheld fabric steamer.

But her biggest hit to date is Huggable Hangers, which she debuted on HSN in 2000. The slim hangers, which are designed to conserve closet space and keep clothes from falling off, are still HSN's best-selling product ever.

Mangano's latest creation -- the Ultimate Better Beauty Case -- debuted on Oct. 19 and sold over 153,000 units in a few hours. That is another one-day HSN sales record.
