Everyone is laying claim to the Arctic, except the U.S.

As nations rush in to stake out their part of the Arctic Ocean, the U.S. is being shut out of the process and potentially giving up a large swath of the Arctic. Below is a map that shows what countries are claiming regions of the Arctic and what the U.S. could likely lose out on.
