Abercrombie & Fitch Co. Announces Authorization of New Share Repurchase Program

NEW ALBANY, Ohio, June 14, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On June 12, 2019, the Board of Directors of Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE: ANF) authorized a new share repurchase program of up to five million shares of Class A Common Stock. This brings the shares available for purchase, as of June 12, 2019 under the company’s publicly announced share repurchase authorizations, to approximately 7.6 million shares, or over 10% of its total shares outstanding.

This new program allows the company to repurchase shares at its discretion, while continuing to invest in growth opportunities. The timing and amount of repurchases will depend on various factors, including market and business conditions.
