Report: IBM Number One in Total Storage Hardware Branded Revenues for 3Q07

IBM the Global Revenue Leader for Disk Plus Tape Storage Revenue Share

IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced that IDC, a leading IT market research and advisory firm, reported that for 3Q07, IBM was the number one global storage hardware vendor in the world, based on disk plus tape branded revenues combined (1). IBM captured 21.9 percent of the total global branded disk plus tape revenue share for 3Q07, besting all other major storage hardware vendors for the quarter.

This latest IDC report entitled "Worldwide Combined Disk and Tape Storage 3Q07 Market Share Update" looks at the combined worldwide branded disk plus tape revenue leadership, and was issued by IDC today.
