MODEL A (1903)

In the alphabet, A comes before T. So do C, B, F, K, N, R and S. And all these were letters for cars Ford Motor Co. produced between 1903, when it was founded, and 1908, when the legendary Model T was introduced.

The original Model A (another "Model A" would be produced in 1928 as the successor to the Model T) was sold as the "Fordmobile." Advertisements touted it as "Boss of the road" and "So simple a boy of 15 could run it."
