These pumps are also utilized for dewatering and flood control purposes including fire protection, which are used for sprinkler systems, fire hydrants, stand pipes, fog systems and deluge systems at hotels, banks, factories, airports, schools, public buildings and other facilities throughout the world. The company was founded in 1933 by J. C. Gorman and Herbert E. Rupp and is headquartered in Mansfield, OH.
