The Intermediates and Derivatives segment engages in marketing of propylene oxide and derivatives, acetyls, ethanol, ethylene oxide and its derivatives and oxyfuels. The Refining segment refines heavy, high-sulfur crude oil on the U.S. Gulf Coast. The Technology segment develops and licenses chemical and polyolefin process technologies and manufactures and sells polyolefin catalysts. The company was founded in December 2007 and is headquartered in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
