The company has changed its name from Kraft Foods, Inc. to Mondelez International, Inc. following a spin-off of its North American grocery business to Kraft Foods Group, Inc. on October 1, 2012. Mondelez International was founded by James Lewis Kraft in 1903 and is headquartered in Deerfield, IL.
