New Gallup survey shows 90 percent consider themselves successful
|
NEW YORK (CNNfn) - A new Gallup Organization survey shows the vast majority of franchise owners consider themselves successes.
The survey, recently released by the International Franchise Association Educational Foundation, shows more than 90 percent consider themselves either "very successful" or "successful."
Most also said they are satisfied with their livelihoods, and 65 percent said if they had to do it all over, they would purchase the same franchise.
On average, franchise owners reported annual gross incomes of $91,630, although 24 percent reported earning $100,000 or more during the past year.
Also, 80 percent of survey respondents said they are actively involved in their businesses and 60 percent said they had worked more hours as a franchise owner than when they held other jobs or owned other businesses.
