We condensed the following sectors: Industrials and Basic Materials into Industry, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services into Consumer, Oil & Gas and Utilities into Energy, Technology and Telecommunications into Technology. Financials and Health Care remain the same.
The following companies were listed in a year they were also replaced in, therefore they don't appear on the timeline. North American, U.S. Rubber, and U.S. Cordage pfd. in 1896, International Paper pfd. in 1901, and U.S. Realty and Kennecott in 1925.
