Apple and Google have released their lists of the best apps of 2015.
App store curators at both companies picked 25 apps that they believed were the must-have smartphone apps of the year.
Amazingly, there were only three overlaps: HBO Now, Robinhood and Jet appeared on both Google and Apple's top 25 lists.
Jet is an upstart Amazon (AMZN) rival. Robinhood allows you to make free stock trades. And HBO Now is HBO's new cable-free subscription service. (Like CNNMoney, HBO is a Time Warner (TWX) subsidiary).
