If the new "Suicide Squad" trailer is any indication, it's going to be good to be bad.
The official trailer for the upcoming Warner Bros. DC Entertainment summer film, "Suicide Squad," premiered Tuesday with the bad guys acting as the superheroes.
The two-and-half minute long trailer had some of DC's best baddies rampaging on a mission to "save the world."
This included Margot Robbie's looney Harley Quinn, Will Smith's Deadshot, and our best look so far at Jared Leto's cackling Joker, the latest twist on the iconic villain.
The film's trailer had a rousing soundtrack supplied by Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," as well as killer lines from its crazy crew of criminals -- or as the trailer dubbed them, "worst heroes ever."
Those on social media Tuesday night found the trailer entertaining and pretty fun (a bit of a contrast from the doom and gloom teasers of DC's other big upcoming film this year, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice").
Warner Bros., which like CNN is owned by Time Warner (TWX), is hoping that "Suicide Squad" expands the DC extended universe beyond the Man of Steel and Caped Crusader. If so, it may be able to rival Disney (DIS)'s blockbuster comic book film studio, Marvel.

Away from the criminally fun trailer, the studio also released a new poster for the film on Tuesday which included the squad standing in as the teeth of a vibrant skull.
"Suicide Squad" breaks into theaters on Aug. 5.
