Glenn Beck has cast his vote for president -- and it's definitely not Donald Trump.
Beck officially endorsed presidential candidate Ted Cruz on Saturday while at a rally at Faith Bible College in Iowa.
"We need a new George Washington," Beck said at the rally. "Today's Washington will not be found in the garish light of gold, but rather, in the bold service of a man who stands tirelessly for what he deeply believes -- that government should be of the people, by the people, and for the people."
"I have prayed for the next George Washington," Beck said of Cruz. "I believe I have found him."
During his speech, Beck talked about the importance of getting the U.S. back on track and remembering what makes America "exceptional."
He also lauded Cruz for winning pivotal court cases and enforcing the principles of the constitution and explained why Cruz's moral views resonate with him.
"It's not somebody who's got a lot of strip clubs and casinos. It's a guy who stands on his principles relentlessly," Beck said.

The rally at Faith Baptist Bible Church featured a particularly effusive endorsement, with Beck inviting Cruz to the stage and administering a mock oath of office.
In his speech, which ripped into Trump as much as it gushed about Cruz, Beck said Trump had to "apologize" to the conservative movement for being arrogant and self-centered and for clashing with the Tea Party.
"The man owes America an apology, and he should ask conservatives in America for forgiveness," Beck said.
"If Donald Trump wins, it's going to be a snowball to hell."
This is the first time Beck has ever made an official endorsement of a presidential candidate. Although he says he has been asked "many times," Beck has "never trusted anyone enough -- until now."
Beck's endorsement is another high-profile seal of approval from a leading Republican talker. It comes as Cruz and Trump increase their attacks on one another ahead of the Iowa caucuses on February 1.
