Audi's very luxurious ancestor: Horch

Take a peek at the Horch, an ultra luxury car from yester-year that's Audi's distant relative.

According to Alain Squindo, Director of Private Collections at RM Auctions, the company auctioning the car at Pebble Beach this year, there aren't specific numbers on the original price of the Horch. But there's no doubt it was expensive. Squindo notes that a Horch could cost as much as 10 times what a regular family car cost during the '20s and '30s.

This Horch sold for $5.17 million at this year's RM Pebble Beach auction.
