Not everyone was so depressed during the Great Depression. Those few who held onto their riches -- or at least most of their riches -- could buy a glorious car like those made by Duesenberg. These cars were statements of extraordinary wealth in their day and, even though the company went of business in 1937, they remain obviously opulent even today.
