One of only four of this model ever made, this particular car was originally purchased by Pietro Barilla, of Barilla pasta fame, for his wife, Maria Maddalena Da Lisca. The body, created by Pininfarina, incorporates design elements from other Ferrari models such as the covered-headlight California. Not intended as a track car, this model was ideally suited for high-speed driving through the countryside.
