This is one of just 23 Competition 427 Cobras built and it was originally designed for driving on the street as well as the track. This car's first owner, Don Russell Jr. of Columbia, South Carolina, decided that, in fact, the machine was just too extreme for street driving and sold it after only two months. After that, the 600 horsepower car had considerable success as a racecar.
