Microsoft CEO's 'karma' speech on women

At a conference about women in the computing business in October, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella implied that instead of asking for a raise, women should have faith that they will be rewarded over the long arc of a career.

"Because that's good karma," he said. "It will come back."

After being skewered on social media and by women advocates, Nadella apologized, saying he was "inarticulate" in delivering his comments.
