The U.S. government's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says washing your hands is the best means you have to kill germs and prevent infections. Unfortunately, many people aren't as conscientious about hand hygiene as they should be, particularly in the petri dish that is a hospital or shared office.
SwipeSense wants to bring some accountability to that process. The company makes dispensers for hand sanitizer that sync with badges worn by individual employees to ensure that everyone is doing their part to stay sanitary. The system also collects facility-wide data to track compliance by unit.
