Social media fans -- you're back in business.
Twitter (TWTR) experienced intermittent outages for much of Tuesday morning, but at 1 p.m. ET the company said all issues had been resolved.
"The issue was related to an internal code change. We reverted the change, which fixed the issue," the social media company said in a statement. It said the problem had affected some users between 3:40 a.m. ET and 9:50 a.m. ET.

Some social media users took to Facebook (FB) to express frustration about the outage.
"When Twitter is down, you can't tweet that Twitter is down," said Facebook user Lyndsay Pole in a post.
"it's been a while since #TwitterDown," posted Facebook user Carolyn Gray in a post.
