Anyone could recognize an Amazon shipping box. It has the arrow that kinda looks like a smiley face.
But what about an eBay box?
You can't picture it because in eBay's 20-year history it never offered sellers its own branded boxes -- until now.
eBay (EBAY) will soon begin selling brown boxes with its own logo as well as other shipping supplies like envelopes and tape, the company said Tuesday.
eBay operates like a marketplace for individual sellers and buyers. Sellers will continue to choose their own packaging, but now they'll have the option to buy an eBay box.
Last year, $82 billion worth of merchandise was sold on eBay.

The company did not say Tuesday how much the shipping boxes will cost, but said prices would be "competitive."
"Many of our sellers told us that they wanted to purchase eBay branded shipping supplies online and we wanted to provide them with more choices," the company said.
Meanwhile, sellers can currently request free priority mail U.S. Postal Service boxes with a small eBay logo through the eBay website.
