J. Paul Getty's oldest son Gordon took over the family business. He was sued in 1999 by three women who claimed they were his daughters from a secret liaison. Gordon Getty acknowledged the girls were his daughters and they changed their names to Getty. Gordon is also the father of Andrew, whose death this week was the latest Getty tragedy.
