Research firm Universum surveys business students in Asia each year to see where they most want to work. Here are the top employers they selected.
The first non-tech company on the list, Goldman Sachs (GS)jumped 10 spots from last year to capture the third slot.
Universum analysts said they were not surprised by continued demand for banking jobs, but noted a decline in the sector's overall popularity.
"The industry has definitely suffered in its attractiveness to the Generation Ys, with the international banks taking a worse hit that their Asian counterparts," said Joakim Ström, Universum's managing director for Asia.
Ström said that students are looking to industries that provide better job security, like auditing or accounting.
