Apple's QuickTake digital camera is another Cupertino device that simply came too soon. It was built in collaboration with Kodak, and became one of the first digital cameras targeted to consumers when it hit the market in 1994.
But the QuickTake came with a $749 price tag -- a lot to pay for a camera that could only store a handful of photos and lacked zoom or autofocus -- and it too faced the wrath of Steve Jobs, who killed it off after returning to Apple in 1997.
