Tsai is a founding partner at 500 Startups, a seed fund and accelerator. 500 Startups has invested in more than 1,300 companies in 50 countries around the world since it launched five years ago.
Prior to investing, she worked in product marketing at Google(GOOG) and YouTube. Oh, and she's also a mom to two young boys (and two dogs).
What I would tell my 18-year-old self:
"In life, you don't get what you deserve. You get what you negotiate. So don't be afraid to ask -- the worst you can hear is 'no.'"
