Perry came up with the idea for uBeam, a startup that provides wireless power using ultrasound, while she was a student at the University of Pennsylvania. Since then, the former NASA student ambassador has gone on to raise more than $13.2 million from investors who believe in her mission of eradicating the world of chargers and power outlets.
What I would tell my 18-year-old self:
"Stop thinking so much about your GPA! Someday you will be your own boss!"
