CNN Correspondent Samuel Burke says that trying out the two-player Oculus experience at CES was "the best by far."
Pre-sales for the Oculus Rift began on Wednesday, and demand for the virtual reality headset crashed the site.
"Wow, people really want Rifts," Oculus founder Palmer Luckey tweeted.
Later in the week, Luckey revealed to TechCrunch that the company would not make money from the headsets, as they are being sold at cost for $599.
