Israeli chip maker Sckipio showed off G.fast, Internet technology that brings Google Fiber-like speeds over standard phone lines.
In a demonstration for CNNMoney, download speeds reached nearly 750 megabits per second -- 50 times faster than average broadband.
Sckipio says the G.fast technology will debut in the United States later this year.
