Toy dog responds to code
6 of 11
Imagine a pet toy dog that also teaches kids how to code.
That's Proto Max, from Hasbro.
He does cute things like chase his tail when you push his nose. With an app, kids can give him a unique personality by coding from 400 sounds and 100 eye animations. You can also program him to bark when you touch his nose, for instance, or move forward when you pat his back.
Kids can play a virtual game of fetch with the pup using the app.
Proto Max, priced at $120, will be available in the fall.
