11 hottest toys for this holiday season

Hatchimals was the buzziest toy of 2016. Now, parent company Spin Master is planning a major follow-up product for this season.

Known as Hatchimals Surprise, we won't know for sure what it will be until it launches -- or hatches, perhaps -- on October 6. But TTPM predicts it will be a hit.

Last year, the toys, which self-hatched out of an egg, quickly sold out. Parents frantically tried to score one in time for the holidays.

Since then, Spin Master introduced a sparkly version called Hatchimals Glitter and Hatchimals Colleggtibles, mini plastic creatures inspired by that live inside a smaller-sized egg.
