Amazon's collection of attractive Echo devices adds a bit of personality to its popular smart speaker lineup. The gadget has been priced as low as $79 this holiday shopping season, and it's now available in new finishes such as wood, metal and grey fabric.
Meanwhile, the Echo Dot is a smaller alternative at a price you can't beat ($29). But for non-Amazon Prime users and those embedded in the Android ecosystem, the smart and sleek Google Home Mini ($50) might be a better fit.
