If you can get your hands on a Super NES Classic Edition ($79), give someone the gift of "Rainbow Road."
The mini-sized throwback console, easily one of the hottest products of the season, comes with 21 built-in games, such as "Super Mario World" and "Mario Kart." Similar to last year's NES Classic Edition, graphics are pixelated and gritty. But you can argue that's perhaps part of the charm.
Nintendo continues to the ship the system to retailers daily, so persistent shoppers may come out on top -- and your friends and family will love you more for it.
